Commercial Manager - Business Development required for a major offshore wind developer based in Europe
Responsibilities
Market Intelligence: Gather and analyse market information from project developers, fabricators, floater designers, port developers, EPC contractors and regulators within the European region.
Business Engagement: Engage with market players to understand industry trends and provide insights to the team in Japan.
RFI/RFP Preparation: Collaborate with the team in Japan to prepare responses to Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP) from potential floater customers.
Networking and Conferences: Attend industry conferences and travel for business as necessary to promote Sumitomo's capabilities and stay updated on market developments.
Communication: Maintain effective and smooth communication with teams in Tokyo and Europe to ensure alignment and collaboration.Requirements
Several years of Business Development experience.
Experience in the offshore energy segment (offshore wind, oil & gas).
Knowledge of finance and accounting and commercial aspects of projects.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Experience working in a multinational company.
Knowledge of project management principles
