This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial professional to play a key role in the delivery of major infrastructure works, taking responsibility for commercial performance, contract management and financial control.

Working alongside project delivery teams and key stakeholders, you will help ensure projects are delivered commercially successfully while managing risk, maximising value and maintaining robust contractual processes.

Lead the commercial function on infrastructure projects, ensuring effective cost control and financial performance.
Manage budgets, forecasting, CVRs and commercial reporting.
Oversee procurement and commercial management of subcontract packages.
Administer NEC contracts and manage compensation events, variations and change control.
Monitor commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
Manage subcontractor payments, valuations, final accounts and contractual obligations.
Work closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners.
Support the successful delivery of project objectives through effective commercial governance and reporting.

About You
Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure.
Experience working on local authority, highways or other public-sector infrastructure schemes would be advantageous.
Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts and change management.
Experience managing project budgets, commercial reporting and subcontract packages.
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach to managing commercial risk and driving project performance.

The Package
Salary up to £110,000, depending on experience.
Company benefits package.
Opportunity to work on significant local authority infrastructure schemes, including a flagship national project.
