Description:
Value Match are looking to appoint a Commercial Manager to join our Public Sector client's team on a contract basis (12 months with a possibility of extension). This role will be largely remote, with a requirement to be on site occasionally in Bristol, London, Peterborough or Birmingham. Salary of up to £750/day Inside IR35.
Key Accountabilities:
Proven experience in commercial management, contract management, or a related field, preferably within the public sector or government.
Experience in running hosting or applications procurement of a substantial value
Strong understanding of government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, PRINCE2) would be an advantage.
