About the Role

Are you a commercially driven healthcare professional with a track record of driving sustainable business growth within CQC-regulated services?

Our client, a leading and rapidly growing provider of high-quality complex homecare services across London, is seeking an experienced Complex Care Commercial Manager to lead their strategic growth, commissioner relationships, and private clients.

This is a pivotal role where commercial acumen meets genuine purpose. You will work closely with Clinical Leads, Integrated Care Boards, Local Authorities, Case Managers, and private clients to expand person-centred complex care packages across the Greater London region.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Business Development: Identify and secure new complex care business opportunities across NHS ICBs, Local Authorities, Court of Protection Deputies, and private pay clients.

*

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based partnerships with key stakeholders, commissioners, case managers, and discharge teams across London hospitals and care networks.

*

Tendering & Bid Management: Lead the submission of high-quality bids, tenders, and framework applications, ensuring competitive pricing strategies while maintaining clinical excellence and profitability.

*

Service Positioning: Collaborate with internal clinical and operational teams to align service capability with market demand for high-acuity packages (e.g., tracheostomy care, spinal injury, brain injury, and paediatric complex care).

*

Commercial Strategy: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and tariff structures to ensure service offerings remain competitive, high quality, and compliant with CQC standards.

About You

*

Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in business development, commissioning, or commercial management within the UK healthcare sector (specifically complex care, domcare, or supported living).

*

CQC Knowledge: Deep understanding of the CQC regulatory framework and the operational realities of delivering high-acuity care packages.

*

Strong Network: Established connections with ICBs, local authority commissioners, or private case managers within London and the Home Counties is highly advantageous.

*

Commercial Vision: Strong financial acumen with experience managing tenders, contract negotiations, and care package pricing.

*

Purpose-Driven: A genuine passion for improving outcomes for individuals with complex care needs and ensuring quality is never compromised for growth.

Lucrative bonus structure linked to growth metrics

*

Hybrid working flexibility with London office base and field-based client visits
