Description:
We're working with a growing fresh produce business looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join its commercial team.
This is a customer-facing role with responsibility for key accounts, category development and commercial growth.
What you'll be doing:
Managing and developing key retail customer relationships
Driving sales, margin and category growth
Developing category plans and identifying new opportunities
Managing forecasting, pricing and account performance
Keeping on top of market, consumer and competitor trends
Working closely with procurement, supply chain, technical and operations
Finding solutions to customer and supply challenges
Helping improve cost, quality and product availability
There will also be some UK and international travel involved.
What we're looking for:
Commercial experience within fresh produce
Strong customer and relationship management skills
Good understanding of sales, margin and category management
Commercially driven and confident in front of customers
Strong analytical and communication skills
Someone proactive who enjoys finding solutions
