Are you a Commercial Manager looking for a new opportunity?

Currently in the market for a Commercial Manager to join one of my clients, in the Essex area. They are a family run business, who are a Residential House Builder, pride themselves on providing exceptional quality builds, on-time and on budget and they are all about the service to the client. You will be overseeing the Essex, Herts and Kent. They usually deliver units ranging from 5 to 80 units, So a fantastic opportunity for the right person, who is looking for a fresh start with a forever growing company.

Role and responsibility:

- You will need to be Coordinate and manage all financial activities of assigned to the projects.
- Analysing tender allowances and submitting variations.
- Manage the tender process.
- Responsible for the bid writing, including quality submissions.
- Maintaining strong communication and relationships with clients.
- Producing and maintaining spreadsheet analysis.
- Overseeing financial key performance indicators (KPIs) of a project.
- Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships.
- Making sure and overseeing cost control is maintained on project, also throughout procurement, delivery and design and seeing it through to the end stage.
- Have a great commercial approach which proactively identifies and regularly looks at savings for the company.
- Production of monthly costs and value forecasts.
- Managing the commercial delivery of several projects.
- Preparing tender and contract documentation.
- Assisting in other general day to day responsibilities.
- Fundamentally be a part of the team and there is scope for progression.
- Strong ability to liaise with supply chain and clients.
- Strong analytical skills.
