** Commercial Manager role (fast progression to Commercial Director) for a 30-year-old contractor with a leading name in the heritage and listed building restoration sector, as well as a good portfolio of clients within the commercial world.**

This specialist contractor has an exceptional name in the restoration and conservation sector, working on a range of buildings from monuments, Grade I & II Listed Buildings, commercial and ecclesiastical. They place a huge value on creating a collaborative team environment to better every individual, which in turn only strengthens the business.
They are looking for someone who has a combination of some heritage and listed building restoration, a steady track record with previous employers (not necessarily in their sector but with similar job values) and holding a role in similar status would appeal. The person, with the right character traits can learn and familiarise with themselves with the type of work they carry out.

Examples of the type of works: Generally, £50,000 - £3m
Restoration of ornate and decorative stonework. Replacement of handmade bricks and new slate roof. External joinery and decorations. Cleansing of exterior facades.
Slate and leadwork, Portland Stone and lime mortar, rebuild of a gable end. Replacement of glazed brickworks. Removal of a failed ceiling. Installation and repair of Oak Riven Lath. New lime plaster ceiling. Removal and installation of new lime plaster cornice, dentils and coving.
Re-running of stucco moulds and cornices with horse moulds. New lead and slate roofs. Ornate plaster repairs. Redecorate wrought iron balconies. Replacement of ornate curved glass and timber dome and leadwork.
