Commercial Real Estate Loan Analyst, Chorley
Salary £30,000 + Annual Bonus (Discretionary)
Aims and Objectives
Provision of day-to-day loan administration ensuring accuracy and completeness of records and adherence to current processes in order to generate Borrower/Lender communications
Key Tasks
- Boarding new loans onto the loan management system
- Create Interest Calculation Template in Microsoft Excel
- Create periodic interest calculations from the LAT and produce associated interest statements on each Interest Payment Date
- Preparation of payments from both borrower bank accounts and our accounts to lenders. These include both manual and online payments
- General loan operations duties including preparation of German billing notices / remittance reports, rate setting and maintenance of FD
- Calculation of Agency Fees, requisition of fee invoices from the Finance Dept and issuance of invoices to Borrowers. Monitoring for receipt of associated fees
- Maintenance of Loan IPD Diary and Fee Diary
- Maintenance of the Datafile ensuring completeness and accuracy of the records within
- Preparation of periodic client reports using both FD and Excel
- Daily monitoring of our bank accounts
- Liaising with Loan Managers, lenders, clients and relevant third parties with regards to loan accrual queries / administration
- Carry out a range of project related tasks
- Respond to both internal and external queries in a timely manner
- Support day-to-day activities of team to ensure accurate/timely delivery of services
Essential Skills & Experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment running multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Positive attitude and commitment to complete tasks on time
- Ability to communicate with all members of the team
- Experienced the use of Microsoft packages
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Team Player and the ability to work independently
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Loan administration or servicing in the financial services industry.
- Loan accrual/property management database system configuration.
- Knowledge of various electronic payment systems i.e. Swift, CHAPS, BACS etc.
