Commercial Litigation Associate Solicitor

Yolk Recruitment are working on an exciting opportunity that has arisen for an Associate Solicitor to join a successful and growing Commercial Litigation team.
The team advises a diverse range of commercial and institutional clients, both locally and nationally, with some international work. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to take ownership of your own caseload while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.
The role offers flexibility around location following an initial onboarding period. The successful candidate will be primarily based in Swansea for the first six months to support training, integration and collaboration, after which there is flexibility to work from other office locations.
Part-time applications will also be considered, with a minimum commitment of three days per week.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload covering areas including:
Contractual and commercial disputes
Shareholder disputes
Debt recovery and recoveries work
Property-related litigation
Fixed charge receiver work
Insolvency matters
Sports law
General civil litigationYou will have responsibility for your own caseload and will work closely with solicitors, legal assistants and support staff to deliver a high-quality service to clients.
The role would suit a solicitor with existing contentious experience, but applications are also welcomed from property solicitors or property litigators looking to move into commercial litigation.
About You
We are looking for a solicitor who:
Has a foundation in commercial litigation, civil litigation or recoveries
Has experience or an interest in property-related disputes and fixed charge receiver work
Has experience or an interest in debt recovery and insolvency
Has experience or an interest in shareholder and contractual disputes
Is confident dealing directly with clients
Has excellent organisation and time-management skills
Can manage and prioritise a varied caseload
Has strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Is commercially minded and client-focused
Works well both independently and as part of a team
