Job Overview

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Commercial Insurance Account Executive / Insurance Broker ideally with experience managing and developing new business enquiries in commercial insurance lines. As a Commercial Insurance Account Executive / Insurance Broker you will bring on board and qualify new business enquiries, you will therefore have outstanding communication skills. Working as the Commercial Insurance Account Executive / Insurance Broker you will play a pivotal role in our clients mission to provide a best-in-class commercial insurance advisory service to businesses across various industries whilst having the opportunity to earn a competitive salary, significant bonuses and training. Duties

* Produce a steady flow of commercial leads which you will follow up on

* Establish a rapport with clients and carry out a detailed fact find meeting so as to understand their unique insurance needs

* Discuss the appropriate insurances

* Collate recommendations to the client and take their instructions where you will process the relevant policy documentation, invoices and finance agreements ensuring the client is properly protected

* Develop new client relationships, providing expert advice on insurance programs, including property, liability, professional lines and cyber insurance

* Meet and exceed financial performance targets, demonstrating accountability for your results

Key Skills and Attributes

* Communicate effectively, both is written format and verbal expression

* Driven

* Problem solve, use own initiative and judgement

* Demonstrate attributes of honesty, integrity, care and diligence at all times

* Possess good IT skills to use Microsoft programmes

* Develop and sustain effective working relationships where applicable with customers, the team and relevant staff

* A track record of being accountable for financial performance targets

* The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

* Ideally a background or knowledge of financial services

This role falls under Insurance Distribution Directive requirements, and as a result, role holders will be required to demonstrate ongoing Continuous Professional Development in role, along with undergoing regular re-screening to show that they are of “Good Repute”.

We work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with the opportunity to work at home after you pass probation.
