From day one, you'll gain hands-on experience across a range of departments, developing a broad understanding of how our business operates. During the early stages of your career, you'll work alongside experienced colleagues in Purchasing, Sawmill, MDF, Forwarding & Logistics, and other key areas, giving you valuable commercial knowledge and a strong foundation for your future career.

If you're enthusiastic, eager to learn and ready to work hard, we'll invest in you. You'll receive the training, support and experience needed to develop your commercial skills and build a successful long-term career.

Why Choose Arbor Forest?

We're proud to be different.

* Named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for two consecutive years.

* A successful family-run business with over 70 years of heritage.

* Part of the Howarth Timber Group, combining the strength of a national business with the values of a family company.

* Our Managing Director started as a trainee, proving that career progression here is real.

* We genuinely care about our people. You'll be supported, encouraged and given every opportunity to succeed.

At Arbor Forest, you're never just a number. We look after our people because we know they're the reason for our success. When you join us, you'll become part of a team that wants you to develop, progress and enjoy coming to work every day.

Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll learn every aspect of our commercial operation.

You'll build strong relationships with customers, gain commercial knowledge, develop your communication skills and take on increasing responsibility as your confidence grows.

We're looking for someone with the right attitude more than experience.

You will be:

A recent graduate (any degree discipline considered).

Confident, enthusiastic, approachable and motivated.

Professional in your approach with excellent communication skills.

Energetic, flexible and enjoy working as part of a team.

Able to build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.

Well organised, with the ability to prioritise your workload and manage your time effectively.

Ambitious, eager to learn and keen to build a long-term career.
