The package includes a salary of £47,888.23 inclusive of standby payment, paid travel time, overtime and a £2,000 joining bonus, subject to terms and conditions.

THE ROLE

As a Commercial Gas Engineer / HVAC Technician, you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of retail sites, maintaining a range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and associated building services equipment.
You'll be responsible for completing scheduled PPM, responding to reactive calls, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs within agreed timescales.

Commercial gas boilers and domestic hot water boilers

Low-pressure hot water (LPHW) heating systems and pumps

Direct expansion (DX) coils and split air conditioning systems

Heat pump systems and water chillers

Inverters and associated HVAC controls
You'll also identify faults that cannot be repaired economically, report your findings and recommend suitable replacement equipment where necessary.

Essential requirements include:

Relevant recognised commercial gas qualifications, with at least four applicable commercial gas certifications.

F-Gas qualification, such as City & Guilds 2079 or an equivalent recognised certificate.
