Commercial Gas Engineer
£45,000–£48,000 + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card + Excellent Benefits

Servara Ltd are pleased to be partnering with an established and growing building services and maintenance contractor to recruit an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and expanding business carrying out service, maintenance, repair and installation work across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. Whilst the primary focus of the role is commercial gas engineering, there will also be some work within domestic properties and on domestic heating systems.

The successful Commercial Gas Engineer will cover Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and surrounding areas.

Commercial Gas Engineer Duties Will Include:

Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial gas heating systems and associated plant
Carrying out commercial gas installations and upgrades
Servicing, maintaining and repairing oil-fired heating systems
Undertaking domestic gas servicing, repairs and landlord safety inspections when required
Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs across commercial and domestic heating systems
Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works
Working on commercial boilers, plant rooms, burners and heating controls
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations and industry standards
Completing job reports, certification and compliance documentation accurately and on time
Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times
Participating in the out-of-hours call-out rota
The Commercial Gas Engineer Will Need:

Valid Commercial Gas qualifications 
Current Domestic Gas qualifications 
Proven experience working on commercial heating systems and commercial gas equipment
Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs within commercial environments
Strong fault finding and diagnostic abilities
Knowledge of commercial boilers, burners, plant rooms and heating controls
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

LPG qualifications
OFTEC qualifications or equivalent experience
Experience carrying out domestic boiler installations and repairs
Electrical knowledge or experience working with BMS controls
IPAF, PASMA or First Aid qualifications
