Description:
Our client is a well established and well respected business that due to a strong period of growth and expansion, they are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a busy and growing Commercial Catering Service team operating across the North West.
This is a full-time, permanent position focused exclusively on commercial and retail sites — no domestic work.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend reactive breakdowns and diagnose faults on commercial gas appliances and associated plant
Complete reactive repairs and follow-up works
Carry out planned servicing of gas appliances and systems
Complete all gas safety documentation accurately and in a timely manner
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial gas maintenance and breakdowns
Servicing in the Catering industry
Valid Commercial ACS certification (essential)
Domestic ACS, OFTEC, or oil experience (advantageous but not essential)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Additional certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, CSCS are desirable
Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently

£42,000 – £55,000 base salary
