Medlock Partners are delighted to partnering with a leading organisation in the UK in their search for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join their Manchester City Centre office.

I am keen to speak with ambitious and commercially driven Part-Qualified Finance Analysts who will provide support to the team across a number of business areas including supporting on monthly financial reporting, budget or other financial board papers and financial strategy modelling, budget, forecasting and month end.

This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong ability to develop robust relationships, demonstrating real impact towards meeting strategic objectives.

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the duties of the Part-Qualified Finance Analyst will include:

Collaborate with operational teams and external stakeholders
Use financial analysis for decision-making and contract improvements.
Provide clear financial reports and assist in business case development.
Develop pricing models for growth, highlighting risks and opportunities.
Work with non-finance teams for commercial tenders and manage financial aspects of new wins.
Conduct detailed budgeting and forecasting, supporting long-term goals.
Assist in reviewing and approving budgets and forecasts.
Complete month-end processes and variance analysis.
Present performance insights to management and develop improvement plans for underperforming contracts.
Support finance business plans and continuous team improvement.
Offer ad-hoc financial support and represent finance on business projects.
Escalate risks and opportunities as necessary.   
The Ideal candidates will be studying either ACCA or CIMA as well as being confident and assertive with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with people at all levels. You will be determined to go the extra mile to achieve results.
The position requires someone who is highly computer literate, with excellent Excel skills (V-looks ups / Pivot table / Finance modelling) and keen attention to detail.
