Commercial Electrician – O&M
Introduction
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to join our Norfolk based client’s Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of solar PV infrastructure, providing vital maintenance and troubleshooting services. You will gain valuable experience in the renewable energy sector while contributing to the sustainability and efficiency of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled field maintenance of solar PV systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical issues.
Record faults, specification deviations, and safety issues.
Identify and document faults and specification/drawing deviations.
Maintain effective relationships with customers, partners, and subcontractors.
Ensure proper upkeep of company equipment and personal protective equipment.
Follow all Health & Safety protocols and report maintenance activities digitally.
Stay updated on new technologies and contribute to process enhancements.
UK and European travel
Qualifications and Requirements
Level 3 Electrical Qualification.
BS7671 – 18th Edition certification.
Experience with testing and inspection (2395/95 or 2391/2392 preferred).
Proven skills with cable tray, trunking, SWA, and CAT5e cables; experience with LV AC and DC supplies.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Valid full driving license.
Salary and benefits
£35000 – 45000 per annum DOE
28 days holiday, rising by 1 day per full year of employment, maximum of 33
