Commercial Electrician - Hertfordshire
£40,000 - £50,000 Per Annum
a fast-growing specialist in connecting businesses to the electricity grid at scale are looking for a team player with the relevant industry experience, and someone who is eventually looking to progress into a leadership role. This role will involve UK travel to the sites on which we work, with overnight stays where sites are outside of a reasonable travelling distance.
Key Accountabilities
To deliver work packages to a high standard (BS7671)
Review and understand fully the requirements of all work instructions
Provide technical advice on all cable installation, and design works
Complete electrical site surveys on existing supplies & new EV charger locations
Carry out risk assessments of the workplace
Complete LV cable terminations from 240mm - 1000mm
Working with large LV supplies within LV switch rooms and substationsSkills and Qualifications
Must be aged 25+ with a full clean driving license (up to 3.5T only)
18th edition C&G L3 2019, test and inspection preferable but not essential
Risk assessment training
Level 2 or Level 3 C&G Electrical Installation
C&G 2392-10 Inspection & Testing Course
C&G 2392-15 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Ability to read schematic drawing and understand content
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team or individually
Organisational and planning skills essentialKnowledge/Experience
Strong knowledge of the Electricity Supply, Quality & Continuity Regulations
Strong knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regulations
Experience in cable tray, trunking, SWA and CAT5e cables as a minimum
Experience in working with LV AC and DC suppliesIn return our client will offer:
