Commercial Electrician - Edinburgh - Salary up to £48,000

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician / Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team, working across a range of prestigious commercial client sites in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The successful candidate will be a highly skilled electrical engineer, ideally with previous Working Supervisor or Senior Engineer experience, who is confident working independently and managing the day-to-day electrical requirements of commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial properties.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently and safely.
Complete electrical installations, testing and remedial works as required.
Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
Respond to reactive maintenance requests and emergencies.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current electrical regulations, health & safety procedures and client requirements.
Maintain accurate service records, job sheets and compliance documentation.
Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and site teams.
Work independently while taking ownership of electrical tasks and site requirements.
Support and provide guidance to other engineers where required, particularly where previous supervisory experience can be utilised.
Participate in a shared 1-in-4/5 on-call rota.Person Specification: We are looking for a time-served and experienced Commercial Electrician / Electrical Engineer with a strong background in commercial building services.

Ideally, you will have:

Relevant electrical qualifications, such as 18th Edition and Inspection & Testing.
Proven commercial electrical maintenance experience.
Experience working across multiple commercial client sites.
Previous Working Supervisor, Senior Engineer or similar experience would be highly advantageous.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A professional and reliable approach to work.
The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
A full UK driving licence.Benefits & Salary:
£48,400 annual salary
25 days annual holiday
£150 on-call allowance for each on-call week
Company van provided for business use
Working hours of 8:00am – 4:30pm
Predominantly Edinburgh-based, with one day per week in Glasgow
