Commercial Electrician
Location: Bristol and surrounding areas – sites close to home wherever possible
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break
The Opportunity
Valoris Group Limited is recruiting an experienced Reactive Maintenance and PPM Electrician on behalf of a successful and growing electrical contractor.
This is a varied, hands-on position combining EICR testing, fault-finding, reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance across commercial sites. Work will be allocated close to home wherever possible, with excellent overtime rates, door-to-door travel pay and additional allowances when working away.
Your Responsibilities
*
Complete EICRs on commercial electrical installations
*
Carry out electrical inspection, testing and certification
*
Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs
*
Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues and emergency callouts
*
Undertake PPM work to prevent breakdowns and maintain performance
*
Identify remedial work and advise clients on the condition of their electrical systems
What We’re Looking For
*
Proven experience in EICRs, electrical testing and inspection
*
Experience in commercial reactive maintenance and PPM
*
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
*
Good knowledge of current electrical regulations and safety standards
*
City & Guilds 2391, 2394/2395 or equivalent preferred, or a willingness to obtain it
*
A valid UK driving licence and flexibility to travel when required
