Are you a strong business developer within pharmaceuticals looking for an opportunity to move into more of a strategic and operational sales role?

We are seeking a results driven commercial and sales professional for a new position of Commercial Director for a pharmaceutical wholesale company based in Hampshire on the Surrey border. This is fantastic position for someone who has a strong sales background within the industry who might be looking for the next step into a more senior and overall managerial role. Offering good earning potential and strong career prospects as Commercial Director. You will be in charge of a small team of 11, you will have overall and strategic management of the business.
As Commercial Director, you will have the following job roles and responsibilities:
* Contribute to the overall business strategy, budgeting and forecasting of sales
* You will deliver sustained business growth by working closely with customers and maximizing sales potential
* Closely monitor sales performance and increase knowledge of customer base
* Manage the in-house team and also work closely with the company RP (Responsible Person) to ensure a quality and compliance mindset is maintained
To be suitable for the role of Commercial Director, you will ideally have the following:
* Degree in a relevant scientific, or pharmaceutical discipline ideally
* B2B background in wholesale pharmaceuticals, or other pharmaceuticals or medical industry
* An understanding of the regulations around GDP (Good Distribution Practice)
* Strong networking and communication skills
* A willingness to travel both UK and at times, overseas
The package on offer:
The successful candidate for this position of Commercial Director will receive the following:
* Salary circa £70,000
* Discretionary bonus
* 25 days plus bank holidays
* Company contributory pension scheme

The role of Commercial Director is based in Hampshire close to the Surrey Border. Commutable locations include Portsmouth, Chichester, Bordon, Petersfield, Guildford, Havant, Waterlooville, Winchester and Alton
