Commercial Director

Description:

Proman is looking for an experienced Commercial Director for one of our clients, a construction company specialised in fit-out of luxury projects.

As the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial activities and driving business growth. This is a senior leadership role that requires strong strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of cost control.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve company goals and objectives
Lead and manage the sales team to drive revenue growth
Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of commercial initiatives
Conduct regular performance evaluations of the sales team and provide coaching and feedback
Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with legal requirements
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Commercial Director in the construction industry, preferible in fit-out.
Strong knowledge of cost control principles and techniques
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing commercial strategies
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred
