Commercial Data Analyst
SQL | Power BI | Commercial Analytics
Newcastle | Hybrid | Up to £55,000
I'm working with a growing e-commerce business looking for a Commercial Data Analyst to help improve how they use data and make business decisions.
You'll work with sales, marketing, customer and e-commerce data, helping teams understand performance, improve reporting and identify opportunities to grow.
The Role
* Use SQL to analyse sales, customer and marketing data.
* Build and improve Power BI dashboards and reports.
* Define and standardise KPIs so performance is measured consistently.
* Identify trends and turn data into useful business insights.
* Automate manual reporting and improve existing processes.
* Work with teams across Marketing, Sales, E-commerce and Operations to support commercial decisions.
* Work alongside the Senior Data Engineer to improve data quality and reporting.
What They're Looking For
* Strong SQL and BI experience, ideally with Power BI.
* Experience analysing commercial data, such as sales, customer or marketing performance.
* Good understanding of KPIs and performance reporting.
* Confidence working with non-technical stakeholders and explaining findings.
* Someone who enjoys taking ownership and improving how things are done.
E-commerce or marketing analytics experience would be a bonus.
