The Role – Commercial Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Coordinator for our client a market leader in the sourcing, production and distribution of fresh produce to some of the UK's leading retailers , the role will be based in the Kings Hill area and in this role you will support the establishment and development of commercially beneficial relationships with your customers , whilst liaising with internal departments to ensure quality and timely delivery of specific products

The Person

Suitable candidates will have previous experience working within Fresh Produce or FMCG within a similar role so you would have a clear understanding of delivering outstanding service levels whilst providing the business with accurate information to enable long term forecasting and programming with the ability to understand and communicate technical issues with the customer commercial teams where necessary

Key Accountabilities:

* To deliver outstanding understanding of service expectations to the business and ensure these expectations are met

* Achieve all sales, volume and margin targets within the account

* Provide the business with accurate account information for the use in longer term forecasting and programming

* Contribute creatively and technically towards the promotion and development of the product range

* Liaise with internal departments (supply chain, procurement, technical, operations) to ensure quality and timely delivery of product

* Liaise with procurement and supply chain teams to address sourcing and availability issues

* Liaise with relevant 3rd party packing sites to ensure clear communication and delivery

* Understand and communicate technical issues with the customer commercial team where necessary and liaise on these issues internally with technical and quality teams to achieve satisfactory resolution

* Support in the delivery of profitable business growth

* Ensure the adherence of administrative and financial systems and controls

* Provide summary information regarding sales, volumes, margins and prices as and when required

* Update internal and external stakeholder with relevant market data

* Organize deliveries and sales orders to customers

* Update prices for invoicing

* Managing customer queries
