Job Title: Commercial Analyst
Location: Cheshire (Hybrid)
Salary: up to £35,000 (DOE)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Group Commercial Analyst to provide analytical support to the Commercial Intelligence function. In this role, you will play a key part in informing and supporting decision-making by analysing and interpreting commercial data, and guiding the business towards or exceeding its revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse and interpret trading performance data, including volume, revenue, price, and occupancy, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for revenue growth while optimizing profit for the group.
Support the budgeting and forecasting exercises throughout the year.
Enhance trading performance investigations by developing new and existing Tableau dashboards.
Update and distribute key commercial reports to the wider business promptly.
Collaborate closely with the Revenue Management teams to provide insights and analyses, enabling better pricing and source market/channel distribution decisions.
Harmonize data with the group data team to ensure consistency and maintain a single version of the truth.
Build and manage stakeholder relationships across various teams within the group.Requirements:
Demonstrated experience working in an analytical role for over 2 years.
Analytical mindset with a passion for data analysis and a curiosity to understand trends and patterns.
Highly proficient in MS Excel, with the ability to interpret large volumes of data.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior stakeholders.
Exceptional attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
Some experience with BI Software, preferably Tableau.Nice to have:
Possess a relevant degree level qualification
