Commercial Administrator
An exciting opportunity has become available with one of our long standing clients based in the Perthshire area. This is an excellent opportunity to come join a forward thinking organisation who are going through a strong period of growth at the moment. KBM’s client is looking for an experienced Commercial Administrator to come join them on a full-time, permanent basis.
As the Commercial Administrator you will be a key point of contact within the wider commercial team. You will quickly become a valuable asset to their growing organisation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. We are looking for a driven individual who has experience of working in a busy office environment.
The key responsibilities include:
* Support the Commercial Director, Senior QS with project costs
* Monthly sub-contractor payment costs
* Produce payment certificates
* Support the wider team with tracking costs of labour, materials and plant for projects
* Take responsibility of pricing smaller projects
* General admin support for the wider commercial team (costs, budgeting and forecasting)
* Ensuring all admin is documented and filing in the correct manner
* Produce BOQ (Bill of Quantities for projects)
* Liaise with clients, new and existing
The key skills / experience / knowledge required:
* Previous experience within a busy construction commercial team
* Previous experience of pricing projects, knowledge of BOQ
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Driven individual who can work independently and as part of a wider team
* Proactive individual who has great personable skills
