COLD STORE / FREEZER OPERATIVE – SNETTERTON
Straight Forward Recruitment are recruiting!
We are looking for an experienced Cold Store / Freezer Operative to join a busy freeze-dried pet food manufacturing facility in Snetterton.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience working in a cold store or freezer environment, particularly with stock picking, handling frozen products and preparing materials for daily production.
PAY & BENEFITS
£12.71 per hour to start
Increasing to £13.50 per hour after 12 weeks
Temp-to-perm opportunity
⏰ WORKING HOURS
Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:00.
LOCATION: Snetterton
The Role
Picking and handling stock within a cold store or freezer environment.
Handling frozen products and ensuring materials are stored correctly.
Preparing and supplying materials required for daily production.
Maintaining accurate stock levels and following stock rotation procedures.
Ensuring production teams receive the correct materials on time.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety and housekeeping.
Following procedures for working safely in temperature-controlled environments.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience working in a cold store or freezer environment is essential.
Experience with stock picking and handling frozen products.
Knowledge of stock rotation and stock control.
Good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
A reliable, proactive approach with a strong work ethic.
The ability to work as part of a team in a busy production environment.
