Coffee Machine Engineer

£34,000-£38,000, Burgess Hill (with South East & London travel), 7:30am - 4:30pm, Permanent, 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays, company van, uniform, Christmas shutdown

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Coffee Machine Engineer to join a growing and well-established business within the beverage equipment sector. Working independently and reporting into the service management team, the Coffee Machine & Engineer will cover the South East and London (approximately once per week), delivering high-quality installations, servicing and repairs for commercial clients.

Key responsibilities:

Install and commission coffee machines and water coolers at client sites
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing faults
Replace parts and consumables as required
Conduct water quality, hygiene, and safety checks in line with company standards
Complete service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records
Provide excellent customer service and technical advice to clients
Manage a daily service schedule independently
Ensure full compliance with health & safety and company procedures

Requirements

The ideal Coffee Machine Engineer will have experience working with coffee machines, water coolers, or similar equipment. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills are desirable, alongside basic plumbing knowledge. Excellent communication and customer service skills are also highly desirable, as this is a customer-facing role. A full UK driving licence is essential, and candidates must meet company vehicle insurance criteria. The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively is highly desirable.

This role could suit someone who has worked as a Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, or Equipment Maintenance Engineer.
