Our client has an exciting project due to start in the Govan area. We are looking for someone who has a strong Welding background, preferably within the marine sector, although other industries will be considered.
The role will be working on a project of restoration. The project is to last for approx. 8 Month contract, hours of work will be 7.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 7.30am - 3pm, 47 hours per week. This contract will operate via an umbrella company with excellent rates of pay.
Majority of work will be full penetration butt welds on 8mm thick deck plates using a ceramic backing strap.
The successful person must be prepared to also work as part of the team and help out when there are no welding activities. This will include general labouring work, prepping work etc.
This is a great opportunity to work on an exiting project with significant historical heritage.
This contract will commence immediately
