Commercial Vehicle Body/Coach Builders & Welder Fabricators required in Neath.

Starting hourly rate of £15.27 per hour.
4.5 days per week! Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 4:00pm, Fridays 7:00am to 12:00pm
Opportunity to join a leading dealer groups newly acquired coach building business! Our client, a large franchise approved commercial vehicle dealer group in the Neath region, are currently looking to hire multiple experienced Commercial Vehicle Body/Coach Builders & Welder Fabricators to join and support their newly acquired coach building business! 

Reporting to the Workshop Manager and working as part of a team, your key objectives will include converting commercial vehicles from stock to the spec required as per the sales order made. Examples of this will include working on and fitting relevant parts and accessories to curtain siders, dropsides, box vans, platforms, tippers and construction of crane subframes on to new chassis as per drawings and specifications to type approval standards.

Standard duties of the successful Commercial Vehicle Body/Coach Builders & Welder Fabricators will include, but are not limited to:

Commercial vehicle body building and conversions.
Working on your own and as part of a team to achieve high quality specification to agreed deadlines.
Safely using plant and equipment, staying compliant with health and safety procedures and wearing the correct PPE.
Recording processes at each stage of the build/conversion.
Maintain a clean and tidy work area that is free from any hazardsYou will need to live in the Neath region or be within a reasonable commuting distance of Neath. Ideally you will need to be a fully qualified Welder or hold something which is the equivalent, however our client is also willing to consider applicants who are time served not qualified. You will need to be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.
