CNC Turner / Programmer – Mazak / Mazatrol
£35,000–£40,000 DOE
Haich Recruitment is working with an established precision engineering business in East Lancashire looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner / Programmer with strong Mazak and Mazatrol experience.
This is not a basic operator position. We are looking for someone capable of programming Mazak CNC turning centres from scratch using Mazatrol, as well as independently setting, operating and seeing a job through to a finished component within specification.
Key requirements:
* Strong Mazak CNC turning experience
* Able to programme from scratch using Mazatrol
* Confident independently setting and operating
* Able to work from engineering drawings
* Strong understanding of tooling, offsets, feeds and speeds
* Experience producing precision components to tight tolerances
* Confident using micrometers, verniers and other inspection equipment
* Experience with longer components / steady-rest work advantageous but not essential
The role:
* Programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC turning centres
* Producing precision machined components from engineering drawings
* Selecting and setting tooling and machining parameters
* Carrying out first-off and in-process inspection
* Making adjustments to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy
* Working across varied precision engineering work
Package:
* £35,000–£40,000 DOE
