CNC Turner / Programmer – Hurco

Wirral | £18.50–£19.00 per hour | Days | Overtime Available

We’re recruiting an experienced CNC Turner / Programmer to join a long-established precision engineering business on the Wirral.

You’ll join a close-knit team of skilled, time-served engineers working on varied precision components for industries including nuclear, pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical.

This is a stable business with exceptional staff retention, with a number of engineers having spent decades with the company. The opportunity has arisen due to retirement rather than staff turnover.

The role:

* Setting, operating and programming a Hurco CNC lathe

* Working from engineering drawings

* Producing components to tight tolerances

* Varied work – no two days are quite the same

* On-site Hurco training provided

What we're looking for:

* CNC turning experience

* Programming experience

* Confident reading engineering drawings

* Able to work accurately to tight tolerances

Hours: 38 per week
Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am–2:30pm
