CNC Turner (Precision Engineering)

Shift: Night Shift: Working 4 nights - Monday to Thursday

Location: Clacton on Sea, Essex

Salary: Competitive, with time and a half night shift premium

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join this long established and respected precision engineering company.

The ideal candidate will have completed a suitable engineering apprenticeship and possess knowledge of Mazatrol programming. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision components according to technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce components with tight tolerances
Interpret technical drawings and program CNC machines using Mazatrol
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of components
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards
Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimise machining processes

Skills and Qualifications:

Completed a suitable engineering apprenticeship
Proficiency in Mazatrol programming
Experience operating CNC lathes
Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset

Hours:

39 per week
Monday to Wednesday: 9.00pm to 7.30am
Thursday: 8.00pm to 5.30am
