Job Title: CNC Turner Setter Operator
Location: Keighley
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Shift: Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 17:30 or 06:00 - 16:30 (40 Hour Week)
Salary: £35,000- £40,000 (DOE) - Overtime Paid at time and a half.
About the Role
An established precision engineering business is looking for an experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator to join its busy manufacturing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC machinist to work within a high precision manufacturing environment, producing quality components for a range of industries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC fixed head lathes and producing precision batch work to demanding customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
• Setting and operating CNC fixed head lathes
• Setting and operating machines using Fanuc controls
• Producing high precision batch work components, typically ranging from 50 to 2500 components
• Working to tight engineering tolerances
• Producing components from a range of general engineering and exotic materials
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Maintaining high standards of quality throughout the manufacturing process
• Ensuring components are produced accurately and efficiently
Skills and Experience
• Previous experience setting and operating CNC fixed head lathes
• Experience working with twin spindle lathes would be advantageous
• CNC programming experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Previous experience within a high precision manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
• Ability to work accurately to tight tolerances

200 hours annual holiday plus statutory holidays
