CNC Turner/Vertical Borer

Connect 4 engineering are hiring for multiple cnc turners for a permanent role in Ayr.

This role will consist of 40 hours per week 2 weeks days 2 weeks night rotation starting ASAP!

Location – Ayrshire, Scotland

Machines – Doosan Puma lathes or Hankook VTL with Fanuc control

Dayshift - Monday to Thursday 6am to 2:30pm, Friday 6am to 1:30pm. Backshift - Monday to Wednesday 2:30pm to 1:00am, Thursday 2:30pm to 12 midnight

Shift Premium - 30% when working on backshift only.

Overtime working – Will be paid at + 50% Monday to Saturday, double time on Sunday.

Essential skills:

* Experience with Fanuc controls.

* Set & operate multi-axis CNC lathes.

* Able to set CNC machinery un-assisted. (Training will be given on unfamiliar machines)

* Able to read programs and make adjustments where required during the setting process.
