CNC Turner

* Durham

* Permanent staff position

* £17.00 – £20.00 per hour (DOE) plus 20% shift allowance

* 25 days’ annual leave (+ bank hols)

* Plenty of OT available at enhanced rates

An experienced CNC Turner is required to join a successful national engineering company at their Durham site.

You’ll be running, setting & operating a CNC Haas lathe, including the loading & unloading of machine tools/fixtures, to produce high quality technical components to tight tolerances of mm.

This is on a two-shift rotating pattern:

* Week One: 6am-2pm Mon-Thu; 6-12 Fri

* Week Two: 2pm-11.30pm Mon-Thu (off Friday)

What you’ll Bring to the Team

* Recognised, relevant engineering apprenticeship

* Previous precision engineering background, with exposure to Haas lathes

* We’re also interested in speaking to people with Mazak programming ability

* Ability to read technical engineering drawings
