Full Time
A well-established precision engineering manufacturer in Wimborne is seeking an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join its busy machine shop.
This is a permanent, day-shift role within a modern engineering environment, offering long-term stability and consistent workload.
The position is suited to a skilled machinist who is confident setting and operating CNC turning machines and producing precision components to tight tolerances.
The Role
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality engineered components.
Key responsibilities include:
Setting and operating CNC turning machines.
Working with Mazak CNC control systems.
Manufacturing precision components to engineering specifications.
Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings.
Carrying out inspection of finished parts to ensure quality standards.
Maintaining efficient and accurate production output.What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator.
Experience working with Mazak controls.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong understanding of machining tolerances and quality standards.
Good attention to detail and a reliable working approach.
Multi-axis machining experience would be an advantage, but not essential.What's On Offer
£17.00 – £21.00 per hour depending on experience.

Monday to Friday day shift.
