Pro-Resourcing Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of our client.
Our client, a well-established precision engineering business, is currently seeking a CNC Turner to join their team.
The position is full time, permanent.
Salary: £16 - £19 per hour (dependent on experience).
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 7am - 1:00pm.
The role
* Programming, setting and operating 3 & 4 axis Doosan turning centres (Fanuc controls).
* Manufacturing precision components to specified tolerances and quality standards.
* Inspecting finished components using appropriate measuring equipment to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
* Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to.
* Support and mentor apprentices where required.
Experience
* Proven experience as a CNC turner.
* Experience programming, setting and operating multi-axis CNC turning centres.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Proficient in the use of measuring equipment.
* Experience working to tight tolerances.
* Strong problem-solving skills
