Rubicon People Partnership’s client are a leading supplier within their industry and are currently experience ongoing expansion.
Overview
As a CNC Turner, you will join a team of time-served engineers to programme, set and operate turning machines to manufacture a wide variation of components. This position would suit an individual that has a comprehensive understanding of machining that is possibly looking for the next step in their career.
As a CNC Turner you’ll benefit from:

Responsibilities
As a CNC Turner, your responsibilities will include:
Programming, setting and operating CNC Turner
Setting up the tooling and fixturing ensuring you are selecting suitable tools
Working from technical drawings and specifications to fine tolerances
Machining small bathes to high precision
Liaising with supervisors and other departments
Basic inspection of the completed parts
Possible minor maintenance of the machines
Background
The successful candidate for this CNC Turner role MUST have:
Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC Turner
Understanding of technical drawings and be able to interpret safety instructions, specifications, and manuals
High attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to work as a team
Residence within sensible distance to our customers’ site
