CNC Turner / Wimbledon / £18 - 20 ph / 39 Hours a Week
Are you an experienced CNC Turner? You could be progressing your career at a world class manufacturing company who are heavily involved in the defence sector.
Based in a busy machine shop, you will be setting, operating and programming a Doosan Puma 2600 single turret lathe (with C & Y Axis). You’ll be machining small batch work 1-10s.
Location: Based near Wimbledon, Greater London. (Onsite parking available)
Hours: 39 a week. Mon-Thur 7:30 to 16:30 Fri 7:30 till 12:30.
Early Start Available: Starting from 6:30 and finishing from 10:00 on Fridays.
CNC Turner Duties/Requirements:
* Extensive CNC turning experience (Min 5 Years)
* Ability to write and prove programs.
* A good all-round knowledge of machining various materials.
* Ability to work unsupervised, and as part of a team.
* Experience of working with small batch sizes; such as 1-10 offs.
* Able understand engineering drawings.
* Able to work to a high level of precision with tight tolerances and time schedules.
Starting Salary: £18 - 20 ph (£36,500 - £40,500) doe.
