Are you an experienced CNC Turner looking for a new role in precision engineering?
We're recruiting for an established engineering business in Yeovil, offering £29 per hour and the opportunity to join a well-organised workshop with a consistent workload and long-term potential.
This role would suit a CNC Turner confident in setting and operating CNC lathes, working from engineering drawings and producing accurate components to specification.

Setting and operating CNC turning machines to produce precision components.
Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Carrying out first-off and in-process inspection checks using measuring equipment.
Adjusting offsets and tooling to maintain component accuracy.
Ensuring efficient machine operation to meet production requirements.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.What we're looking for
Previous experience as a CNC Turner.
Ability to confidently set and operate CNC Mazak lathes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience using measuring and inspection equipment.
A quality-focused approach and attention to detail.Experience in precision engineering, working to tight tolerances, and familiarity with Mazak or similar CNC controls would be advantageous.
