CNC Turner / Setter Operator (Fanuc Controls)
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:30, Friday: 07:00 - 11:00 - Early finish every Friday
CNC Turner / Setter Operator Required
A well-established precision engineering company based in Fareham is seeking an experienced CNC Turner / Setter Operator to join its growing manufacturing team.
Producing high-quality precision-machined components for a range of demanding industries including aerospace, marine, construction and medical equipment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and respected engineering environment.
The Role
As a CNC Turner / Setter Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Producing precision components to tight tolerances
- Conducting in-process inspections using measuring equipment
- Ensuring quality standards are consistently maintained
- Supporting continuous improvement and efficient production processes
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator
- Good knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
