Based in Cambridgeshire, UK, Argo Aviation International is part of a network of global offices supplying temporary and permanent recruitment solutions, EASA/FAA and CAA Part 145 services to many of the major aviation airlines, defence companies and maintenance companies worldwide.
The Client:
Our clients site is based in London and is one of the three landing gear maintenance facilities within our client’s network. The 13,400 square meters shop is fully equipped with machinery for all aircraft undercarriage related work, including machining, bush manufacturing, NDT, electrical harness repair, hydraulic as well as plating shops and is capable to accommodate any common landing gear type. 99% in-house capability means little subcontracting activities.
Role Information – CNC Turner:
Job Title: CNC Turner
Location: London
Salary: £31,400+
Shift Pattern: Mon – Fri / Tues – Sat (Dependant on business needs)
Working Hours: 06:30am – 14:30pm or 14:25 – 22:25

Summary of duties – CNC Turner:
As an experienced CNC Turner, you will be responsible for:
* Working on two and three axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
* Experience of CNC programming preferable on Fanuc controls.
* To be able to read and understand technical drawings.
* To be able to work with imperial measuring equipment.
* Manufacturing bushes, sleeves and nuts for Aircraft components e.g.:- Landing gears, flap and track systems.
* Reworking and overhauling components for the airline industry.
* An awareness and understanding of responsibilities outlined in the Company’s environmental procedures.
* You will be required to maintain Practical Experience Record (PER) book.
* You may be required to train personnel with a specified area subject to your qualifications and experience.
* All duties shall be undertaken in compliance with Safety and Environmental Regulations and Company Procedures.
