CNC Turner
Are you a CNC Turner that has worked in high precision manufacturing and looking for a new challenge?
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a CNC Turner to join a prestige aerospace business based in Sheffield.
The role is to work two shifts (mornings 6am-2pm and afternoons 2pm-10pm) with the possibility of a night shift.
Salary £32,266
Overtime available

Key Responsibilities:
Operation CNC tools to produce various types of Gas Turbine components
Other processes within the cell
You are required to work to Standard Operations Procedures (SOP’s) and follow a set standard work routine to achieve the required output
Use the correct tools and equipment for the operation or work, including relevant safety equipment and protective clothing provided.
Assume responsibility for prescribed TPM to ensure ongoing equipment performance
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
Responsible for inspection of completed operations using equipment such as CMM and manual gauge tooling.
Experience:
CNC Turning Experience - Essential
Manual Turning - Essential
Able to use measuring equipment – Verniers, Gauges, and Micrometers – Essential
Reading and following written instruction e.g., SOPs, Technique sheets, drawings, and specifications - Essential
Experience in the Aerospace or similar industry – Preferable
Qualification in CNC operation, apprenticeship trained or significant industry experience.
Environmental awareness, Manual handling, Abrasive wheel training, calibration control, LOTO (Lock out / Tag Out) Risk Assessments, SOP Development, RCA, Basic CI (Continuous Improvement) principles, Auto Main Introduction
