Company description:

A manufacturer of precision engineered safety critical components is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Programmer to join their team due to continued growth.

You will be responsible for setting and programming 3,4 & 5 Axis machines ensuring components are produced to the highest standards.

Responsibilities as a CNC Setter / Programmer:

* Program CNC 3, 4 & 5 Axis Milling machines

* Program offline using EDGECAM

* Set and produce first off’s ensuring required standards are met.

* Partake in continuous improvement & process improvement activities

* Complete set-up documentation

* Advise management of project delivery risks

Skills & Experience required as a CNC Setter / Programmer:

* CNC programming, setting and operating experience (3, 4 and 5 Axis)

* Experience with CAD/CAM Offline Programming in EDGECAM

* Experience with editing programs using Fanuc controls

* Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment

* Skilled in imperial and metric
