Overview of the Role
As a CNC Programmer / Setter, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC milling machines. You'll work from technical drawings to produce precise components, ensuring adherence to tight tolerances while self-inspecting your completed work. This position is ideal for a candidate eager to develop their skills and advance their career within the engineering field.
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience programming and operating CNC milling machines.
Proficiency with Siemens Shopmill and Heidenhain systems.
Ability to interpret technical drawings effectively.
Attention to detail and commitment to working within tight tolerances.
Experience with Fusion 360 is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
Program and set up CNC milling machines in accordance with specifications.
Produce components by interpreting and working from technical drawings.
Ensure quality control through self-inspection of completed jobs.
Prepare machines for production based on works orders.
Write and edit CNC programs as required.
