⏰ 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexible start times)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company based in Medway, who are looking to add an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to their growing team.
This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working on a wide range of bespoke components in a busy manufacturing environment.
???? The Role
As a CNC Programmer/Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality, precision-engineered components from customer drawings.
????️ Key Responsibilities
Programming, setting and operating CNC machines
Producing components to exact drawing specifications and tolerances
Carrying out in-process and final inspection of parts
Performing multiple tool changes and machine adjustments per shift
Deburring and finishing components as required
Working to production targets while maintaining quality standards
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
Collaborating within a small, hands-on team✅ Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in CNC programming and machining
Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
Competent using measuring equipment and completing quality checks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable, hardworking and team-focused approach
Positive attitude and willingness to support across productionDesirable:
