CNC MACHINIST
UPTO £50K DOE
NOTTINGHAMSHIRE
A leading precision engineering manufacturer is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join its growing machine shop team.
Working with Heidenhain-controlled CNC milling machines, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating machinery to produce large, complex components to tight tolerances.
What You Will Need
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or Milling machines.
Strong CNC milling programming skills
Experience with Heidenhain controls
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Confidence machining large components and working to tight tolerances
Experience using inspection equipment including micrometers and verniers
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
The Role
Program, set and operate CNC milling machines
Write and edit CNC programs
Machine components up to 2 metres in length
Work with Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Inconel, Titanium and Alloy Steels
Conduct quality inspections and measurements
Support production targets within a team environment
