CNC Programmer - Temp to Perm Opportunity

Location: Ashford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a busy and growing manufacturing business in Ashford. This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a well-established company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines while ensuring components are manufactured to the highest quality standards. Experience with Fanuc controls would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
Verify CNC programs and machine settings to ensure accurate production
Monitor production processes and carry out regular in-process inspections
Conduct quality checks on finished components to ensure customer and company standards are met
Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping duties
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain production schedules and quality targetsSkills & Experience Required:

Previous experience programming CNC milling machines
Knowledge of Fanuc controls is desirable
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
Good computer literacy and confidence working with CNC software
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
Able to work independently and as part of a team
