Actio Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company in Nottingham for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator to join their growing team.
The Role
* Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
* Online programming using Fanuc, Heidenhain or similar controls.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
* Selecting appropriate tooling and cutting strategies.
* Performing first-off and in-process inspection using measuring equipment.
* Working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
* Assisting with continuous improvement and process optimisation.
The Candidate
* Previous experience as a CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator.
* Ability to program, set and operate independently.
* Experience working within a precision engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
* Competent using inspection equipment including micrometers, verniers and gauges.
* Positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
