CNC Operator – 5 Axis Experience Required

Venatu Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator with 5 axis experience to join a leading manufacturer based in the LS13 area of Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, leading manufacturer recognised for producing high-quality products within its field. We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator who has previous hands-on experience operating 5 axis CNC machinery and takes pride in producing precision components to exacting standards.

The Role – CNC Operator (5 Axis)

As a CNC Operator, you will play an important role in the manufacturing process, operating 5 axis CNC machinery to produce components and products to the highest possible standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

Operating 5 axis CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality components in line with production requirements.
Ensuring all products are manufactured accurately and consistently to the required specifications and tolerances.
Monitoring machine performance and production output to maintain quality and efficiency.
Carrying out quality checks and inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
Identifying and reporting any faults, defects or inconsistencies with machinery or finished products.
Following engineering drawings, work instructions and production specifications where required.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Following all company policies, health and safety procedures and quality control standards.
Working effectively as part of a manufacturing team to achieve production targets and deadlines.
Essential Skills and Experience

To be considered for this CNC Operator position, you must have:

Previous hands-on experience operating 5 axis CNC machinery.
A strong understanding of CNC machining processes and precision manufacturing.
Experience producing components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality.
The ability to follow technical instructions and manufacturing procedures.
A reliable, professional approach with a strong work ethic.
The flexibility to work rotating shifts.
Previous experience within a high-quality manufacturing or engineering environment would be highly advantageous.

Please note: Previous 5 axis CNC operating experience is essential for this position. Candidates without relevant experience may not be suitable.

Pay Rate and Working Hours

Pay rate starting at £15.00 per hour.
Monday to Friday rotating shifts:

Early shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm
Late shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm

Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
